Concerts that Rock!!!!!!

This section of my blog will get filled quickly.  I am an avid concertgoer and definitely have eclectic music preferences that should fit everyone’s taste.   I think I will, at times, include concerts from the 80’s to present that I have gone to that I would recommend (or discourage) others to see (AKA spend their money/time or save money/time).  

My first money saving recommendation is to NOT see Bruce Hornsby.  It breaks my heart saying this because I did see him in the 80’s and had nothing but rave reviews about his show.  However, I saw him this fall (2013) and not only was the show bad but his interpersonal skills with the audiences were obnoxious. Sorry Bruce big thumbs down. 

Have to say I enjoyed seeing Debbie Reynolds more than Bruce.

Welcome to Things I Know for Sure

Hi EVERYONE,  This is Carolyn on my first blog. I read, travel, play music, dabble in oils and water colors, shop,  love fashion and makeup and playing with my two dogs and husband. Well, he's sort of famous but a sort of fuddy duddy so I have to be the one to share everything that I really know for sure. That means when we travel you will know for sure that the hotel was REALLY GOOD or lousy if that is the case.

When I find a really terrific movie or face creme I can wholeheartedly endorse them, no baloney and no ambiguity. You get the idea.

I know that everyone has their own taste, or as my husband would probably say showing off,  DE GUSTIBUS NON DISPUTATUM EST. But heck, I have been there and done that enough to know that there are a lot of you out there who would like to hear some straight talk and share it with me, so I look forward to a lot of fun.
